Meg Kindelin becomes a partner
Walker Johnson and Larry Lasky are pleased to announce the strengthening of their practice with the promotion of Meg Kindelin to Principal with the firm, as well as the addition of her name and initial to the letterhead. We are delighted to introduce Johnson Lasky Kindelin Architects.
Meg has made significant contributions to the firm over the last dozen years, designing and managing architectural projects while participating in business development decisions. Her areas of practice encompass architectural design, historic preservation, building assessment, as well as history and research. She started with the firm in 1999, with a Master’s Degree in Architectural Design and a second Masters in Architectural History from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a University Fellow. Her projects have been recognized by the American Institute of Architects and the Victorian Society of America. She is a member of the AIA, the Association for Preservation Technology, and the Society for Industrial Archeology. She is project manager and liaison for our larger municipal and institutional clients.
“The mission of JLK is to continue that of JLA: to supply clients with the professional services, expertise, and commitment to project standards that JLA is known for. We also recognize that this will be an exciting time for the firm as we maintain our focus on existing clients and services but also discover new projects and relationships.”
JLK is a woman owned corporation and will be a certified WBE with the City of Chicago. We are also pursuing DBE standing. We look forward to expanding our relationships with clients and our A/E colleagues and discovering new project and teaming opportunities.
